Viscountess Devonport HT. (E. J. Hicks). This excellent rose can safely be described as an improved 'Mrs. Aaron Ward' it having the same form of flower, but much finer. Rich Indian yellow, compact growth and sweetly scented. Very rich colour, but fades badly in hot weather. Semi-double.
