R. Marion Hatton.  The World's New Roses
The Brownells have Dr. Burt - named for a prominent New England amateur - and Harvest Glow. The former is a vigorous Climber, with large double flowers of red, with tones of orange, while Harvest Glow is deep pink, with a yellow reverse. They are both summer bloomers.
