Louise Baldwin (Tea) (McGredy). This rose may be the one you amateur hybridists are looking for, as it is 100% obvious that it is a self-seedling of Lady Hillingdon and about the same orange that is so luscious, with a little better shape and color stability. Also it has the same marvelous healthy foliage.

Louise Baldwin (HT) A graceful flower, long and pointed.  Colour, rich orange, with soft apricot shading over the centre petal.  A beautiful even colour and a big advance on all Roses of the 'Lady Hillingdon' type.  Quite hardy;  a good grower and very free blooming.  A grand variety for bedding and massing and all kinds of decorative and cut flower work.  Very sweet scented.

p46.  Louise Baldwin (HT) (McGredy, 1916). F2. A very graceful, long, pointed bloom, in the way of 'Lady Hillingdon', but the colour is darker, rich orange, with apricot shading. Flowers are semi-double and very freely produced. A good variety for the garden. Everywhere.
