Country Life in America (March, 1916) p. 106. A YELLOW H. P. ROSE In Mr. THOMAS'S article on another page he says that there is no good yellow Hybrid Perpetual, suggesting Hybrid Austrian Briars to fill the vacancy. Since January first, when Mr. Thomas's manuscript was turned over to us, Ludwig Mueller, a Hybrid Perpetual, has been brought out by Hinner. It is claimed that the new rose has the same character as Frau Karl Druschki, with flowers of a light yellow color. It is a cross between Frau Karl Druschki and a seedling of Marechal Niel. Of course the rose has not yet been tested in Mr. Thomas's garden.
