Betty Cuthbert HT. (R. Palmer, 1967) An orange-red to light red sport of 'Roundelay'. A very fine decorative rose but usually below show standard. It should make a fine hedge, as does the parent.

Betty Cuthbert. HT. (R. Palmer & Co., ’64). Sport of ‘Roundelay’. Medium, long-pointed bud. Orange-red, velvety petals, medium , full, very double blooms borne in clusters on long, strong stems. Very good lasting quality; petals hang on. Very strong fragrance. Abundant, glossy, soft foliage. Reddish brown bark and twigs with many thorns. Very vigorous, upright growth. Free, profuse blooming.
