'Golden Dawn Cl.' 002 At Northcliffe, WA, May 3, 2007. Provenance: Mrs. Hulcup-1; Mrs. Sheila Gravett-2; Aunt Myrtle's Garden Nursery-3; in 2002. On Fortuniana rootstock. Am only presuming this Australian rose was the Australian one bred by Knight in 1937. It is certainly a much paler yellow than the Armstrong or LeGrice sports appear to be. Despite being on fortuniana rootstock the rose gets almost terminal dieback each year. It is still alive as at March, 2013 but a smidgeon of its former self. Hip. (Later died)
