The correct date of 'Omar Pacha' is 1853. All sources from 1855 onward attest to that. Even MODERN ROSES used to give that date. In 1993, MODERN ROSES 10 gave the date as 1863, which I believe was a slip of the finger, a typographical error, which has since been repeated in various sources.
