Frilly Dilly Miniature. Light pink, repeat-flowering. Some confusion may exist over this rose, which shares its name with a Cluster-flowered Rose. This 'Frilly Dilly', however, is quite distinct; it is a Miniature Rose with soft pink, double flowers and small foliage. It is a good, summer-flowering rose for containers and small gardens. Zones 5-9. Cocker, UK 1986. Parentage unknown.

'Frilly Dilly'. Low Bordering. The height is between 30-50cm. with a form that is most unique. The flowers are of the most delicate form and colour. The fully open bloom is of 3.2 - 4cm in diameter and the petals being 80-90 in number. They are very long in relation to their width, slightly cupped and have a tendency to be stacked in columns, the length of each underlying petal being slightly greater than the one above. A small bowl of these blooms would be quite a conversation piece at any dinner party. Your home has a spot for this beauty whether it be in the garden or on the patio. A most delightful shade of shell pink.

'Frilly Dilly'. This shell-pink rose has a most unusual form. The fully open bloom is about 5cm in diameter and the 80-90 petals are long in relation to their width, slightly cupped and with a tendency to be stacked in columns, the length of each underlying petal being slightly greater than the one above. Usually very multi-petalled roses need warm climates to open fully and this is probably why 'Frilly dilly' does especially well in Australia. Not yet available in New Zealand. Raised by Cocker, United Kingdom. Introduced 1986.
