Palace Rose garden, RBGSyd. Taken Mid summer (30/12/23). This was quite late in the day, but I’ve visited this bed of it earlier and it has a lovely strong fruity rose fragrance, a bit damask like. Much nicer shrub habit than some of the floribundas around.

Same as last photo uploaded. This rose was badly chewed by possums in its first summer; a wire mesh cage saved it (and many others) but has left it a little ungainly in habit.
