Bloom:
Lavender. Mild fragrance. Average diameter 1.5". Very large, semi-double (9-16 petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, in small clusters, flat, ruffled bloom form. Prolific, continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.
Habit:
Short, compact, few or no prickles/thorns, spreading, well-branched. Small, semi-glossy, leathery foliage.
Height: 1' to 14" (30 to 35cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer. Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden. Hardy. vigorous. Protect tender new spring growth from hard freezes that may cause canker, die-back and death of the plant. . Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood.. Can be pruned to maintain a shorter habit.
