Bloom:
Deep pink, lilac shading. [Dark red.] Mild fragrance. Medium, single (4-8 petals) bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.
Habit:
Short, armed with thorns / prickles, sends out runners, upright, well-branched.
Height: up to 2' (up to 60cm).
Growing:
Hardy. vigorous. produces decorative hips.
