Apricot or apricot blend Floribunda. Registration name: JACgrantExhibition name: Fragrant Apricot ™
Bloom:
Apricot, lighter edges. Strong, damask fragrance. 30 to 35 petals. Average diameter 4". Large, full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, high-centered to cupped, reflexed, rounded bloom form. Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season. Long, pointed buds.
Habit:
Medium, armed with thorns / prickles, upright, well-branched. Large, medium green, dense, leathery foliage.
Height: 3' to 42" (90 to 105cm). Width: 30" (75cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer. Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden. Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot . Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) . Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).
