In 1987 the President's International Trophy and a Gold Medal went to KORparau, a tall shrub, by Kordes, with quilled double pink flowers in small clusters ('Zwerkonig 78' x seedling). Although its neighbour was attacked by black spot in mid June there was the minimum of cross infection on to the lower leaves. It has a slight scent and dull small foliage and my own marks were never very high.
