Here is one from the Huntington Gardens in San Marino, California. It really is a charming rose, with its perfect form, soft fragrance, delicate creamy color and semi-glossy mid-green foliage. Perhaps it dates from the gold rush days, who knows? When its true name is restored to it, no double it will find a wide circle of admirers. Parentage unknown. Repeat flowering. fragrant.
