1964 'Lady Seton' (Hybrid Tea). Raiser, S. McGredy, Northern Ireland. A lovely, strong-growing rose with most elegant, medium-sized blooms in a long lasting clear rose-pink colour. To my nose it is less strongly perfumed than 'Fragrant Cloud'. For some strange reason, perhaps because rose-pink is not an "in" colour, it is already right out of the popularity tables. Certificate of Merit.

The Final Analysis 1970-71 Season.
'Lady Seton'. N.R.S. rating 7.1, 4ft. Healthy, strong grower which repeats quickly. The form is good up to the point where the split centres show. An excellent garden variety for all that.

‘Lady Seton’. 26 reports. 4 years. Average height 48”. NRS rating 7.3. Wairoa: Attractive colour. Good garden display. Slight mildew. Gisborne: Flowers prolifically. Too many split centres. Akaroa: Masses of bloom although small and not good form, still a good rose.
