‘Antoine Ducher’: Les Hybrides Remontants. Obtenteur: Ducher 1866. Hauteur: 1m50… fortes tiges, au sein d’un arbuste érigé, au grand feuillage lisse et plutôt clair, grosses corolles d’abord bien rondes, puis en coupes plates, tapissées de pétales froncés. D’un beau rose foncé, presque rouge, et luisant, elles ont des revers plus argentés qui accrochent la lumière et leur donnent du relief. Parfumées, elles remontent bien en fin de saison.

Antoine Ducher Hybrid Perpetual. Ducher, 1866. Seedling from 'Mme Domage.' [Author cites information from different sources.] Bright purplish red... Rich dark crimson... Violet-red... very thorny... This variety is the unlikely co-founder, with R. foetida persiana, of the Pernetiana class, a class which crossed with the old Hybrid Teas, initiated the modern Hybrid Teas.
