'Frühlingszauber'. Kordes, Germany, 1941. The same parentage as 'Frühlingsmorgen', but of less good growth; with me, it is weak and awkward, never making a shrub, but creates a vivid though somewhat vulgar display in flower. The blooms are 3 to 4 inches across, semi-double to nearly single, of a flashy cerise-scarlet with yellow centre on opening, fading to pink. A few large maroon-red heps. 6 feet.
