Dr. Eckener grows to about 8 feet, and is very thorny but the semi-double blooms of yellow tinted pink and copper are produced all season.

Dans ce genre, je mentionne un rosier d'un obtenteur allemand, Docteur Ekener, d'un très beau jaune. C'est un des premiers rosiers jaunes dans les hybrides de rugueux. Malheureusement, ce sont de très beaux rosiers décoratifs par leur floraison non interrompue, mais ils ne peuvent pas faire de la fleur coupée : ils sont trop épineux, comme le genre de leur ancêtre, le Rosier rugueux
