'Mademoiselle Claire Jacquier' rose Description

Class:
Hybrid Multiflora, Noisette.
Bloom:
Light yellow, darker center, ages to cream. Strong fragrance. Average diameter 1.25". Small, double (17-25 petals), in large clusters bloom form. Occasional repeat later in the season. Pointed buds.
Habit:
Climbing, few or no prickles/thorns. Large, glossy, dark green foliage. 7 leaflets.
Height: 25' to 30' (760 to 915cm). Width: 10' (305cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Very vigorous.

Parentage uncertain, see References. Possibly of the Jacquier family of nurseries, Monplaisir, Lyon. Claude Jacquier (1853 - Fenruary 6, 1934) was vice-president of the Association lyonnaise d'horticulture in the 1880s.
