'Champion of the World' ('Hermosa' x 'Magna Carta') ...a hybrid perpetual, appeared to be less closely related to 'Hermosap than 'Burbank'. The cultivar to which it appeared to be most closely related was 'Rose Edouard'. The parentage of 'Magna Carta' is not known.

‘Champion of the World’/’Mrs de Graw’ = ..arbuste d’une allure délicate… petits aiguillons brun clair et petites feuilles vert clair… boutons cramoisis… fleurs moyennes, bien pleines, avec les pétales récurvés, d’un rose pâle à reflets lilacés, pendant l’été et l’automne.
