Bourbon.  White, light pink shading, lighter outer petals.  Pink edges when aging.  Mild to strong, sweet fragrance.  Medium to large, very double, borne mostly solitary, cupped, reflexed bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  USDA zone 5b through 10b.   Pierre Rousseau (1837).

Hybrid Perpetual.  Vermilion - scarlet, carmine-red shading, violet-red reverse.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, globular, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  USDA zone 5b through 8b.  Height of 2' to 4' (60 to 120 cm).  Width of 2' to 3' (60 to 90 cm). George Paul (1841-1921) (1868).
