Thanks Margaret. Noted - and we hope Jane is feeling better these days. Jane Zammit was most active in propagating the old found roses and we need nurseries like hers. Where now do we buy the old cemetery roses?

Budwood from the roses in the HRiAI Collections at Renmark will be available for purchase from Anne Ruston when the plants are are well-enough established. Most of the Teas and some of the ramblers are big enough; the later plantings, including some of the Rookwood teas, will need 2-3 more years. Unknowns originally from Blakiston are among the later plantings but are not identified as Blakiston roses, at the request of the Church caretakers. Foundlings from various other cemeteries have been planted, largely excluding Old European Garden Roses, which like more winter chill than Renmark gives them. Budwood from some gallicas has been sent to Araluen.
