Pink blend Hybrid Tea. Registration name: Alabama (hybrid tea, Weeks, 1976)
Bloom:
Pink blend. Strong, tea fragrance. 20 to 25 petals. Average diameter 4". Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, in small clusters, exhibition, high-centered, reflexed bloom form. Moderate, blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, bushy. Medium, semi-glossy, medium green, leathery foliage.
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower, exhibition or garden. Vigorous.
Notes:
The State of Alabama was admitted to the Union on 14 December 1819. Named for the Alabamas Indians.
