Discovered by Hans Van Haasterd (Netherlands, before 1998).
Class:
Early Large Flowered, Group 2.  
Bloom:
Violet.  Average diameter 5".  Medium to large, double bloom form.  Late spring to early summer, early autumn to midautumn.  
Habit:

Height: 6'7" to 9'10" (200 to 300cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 5a and warmer.  Suitable for growing in a container.  It blooms on the previous year's growth, so resist the urge to prune it in early spring.
