I suspect the seed parent here should be 'Prima Donna' bred by Takeshi Shirakawa (Japan, 1984).
Jim Sproul may have more information.

Fopr a 2000 rose, it would be more logical to have had a 1984 parent, rather than a 1999 one. Pending more information from Jim Sproul, I have changed the parentage.

I saw a rose on this website that I would like to have- it's labeled Michel Cholet, but very different? Is this the same plant? http://thomasvillerosesociety.org/samgarden.html

We have grown Michel Cholet for two seasons and it is really now coming into it's own. It is now Fall and the blooms are a wonderful soft apricot. We cut some for an arrangement this past week--the very large and full flowers have long, straight stems and have tremendous staying power in the vase.
