Origin:
Bred by Georges Delbard (1905-1999) (France, before 1956).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1961 as 'Belle Rouge'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Dark red, lighter edges, ages to violet-red .  Large, double (17-25 petals), open bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  Glossy foliage.  

Height: up to 39" (up to 100cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for cut flower or garden.
