Kaye Kettrey and her husband and moved to the Ouachita Mountain area of Arkansas 9 years ago when he retired from Delta Airlines in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. They began to grow Old Roses "quite by accident," as a project to put "roses along the split rail fence". She happened upon 'Ducher,' and the rest is history. The Kettreys are members of the Ft. Smith Rose Society and the call for help identifying the Whitlow/Liberto/Bremner roses was forwarded thru them. Kaye's next adventure will involve old roses in and near abandoned Arkansas sawmill locations. A 2005 article from Paul's (excellent) website about his favorite remontant and non-remontant cultivars. *** see sproul site for photos Synopsis for test article
