Bred by Samuel Darragh (1932-2019) McGredy IV (1957).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Samuel McGredy and Son, Nurserymen (Northern Ireland) in 1963 as 'Arabian Nights'.
Introduced in France by NIRP International in 1964 as 'Arabian Nights'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1965 as 'Arabian Nights'.

Class:

Floribunda.

Bloom:

Salmon-orange. Mild to strong fragrance. 25 to 30 petals. Average diameter 4.5". Large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Long, pointed buds.

Habit:

Glossy foliage.

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Disease susceptibility: susceptible to Mildew.

Breeder's notes:

Arabian Nights - 57/1065. Nicknamed Spartan Beauty.
