Book (1872) Page(s) 134. C. PATENS FLORIBUNDA (Lemoine).-This variety, which was raised by M. Lemoine, of Nancy, has ternate leaves, with short ovate leaflets. It is remarkably free-flowering, blooming abundantly alike on young and old plants, the blossoms being of good form, and consisting of about eight broad regular sepals, of a rosy-tinted French-white, or white suffused with pale rosy-lilac, the anthers being sulphur-coloured. Its profuseness of flowering is said to be astonishing.
