Bred by Mogens Nyegaard Olesen (Denmark, 2003). Bred by Raymond J. Evison (United Kingdom, 2003).
Introduced in Denmark by Poulsen Roser A/S in 2012 as 'Manon'.
Class:
Early Small Flowered, Group 3.  
Bloom:
Mauve - pink, red anthers.  Mild fragrance.  up to 6 petals.  Average diameter 3.25".  Small to medium, single, star-shaped bloom form.  Late spring to early autumn.  
Habit:

Height: 4' to 5' (120 to 150cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 4a through 9a.

The present invention constitutes a new and distinct variety of Clematis plant which originated from a controlled crossing between the female seed parent, an un-named seedling, and the male pollen parent, an un-named seedling
The two parents were crossed during the summer of 2003 and the resulting seeds were planted the following winter in a controlled environment in Guernsey, Channel Islands, United Kingdom.
