Arvid`^s garden, Lista. September 2009. I think the colour is closer to the right one here than in the other photo I uploaded.

Arvid`s garden, Lista the 1st of August 2011. With my new camera the colour of this clematis now seems to come out more correct, although they usually have a little darker shade though.

Arvid`s garden, Lista, southwestern coast of Norway, August 2009. It has been almost impossible to capture the right colours of this clematis with a digital camera. This is the closest I can get. The colour should be of a somewhatt darker shade and with slightly more wine red in it. The plant is doing very well for the first year.

Arvid`s garden, Lista, southwestern coast of Norway. This is how flowers of this clematis appear as of November 21st when this photo was taken, affected as they are by a few night temperatures below 0C, very little sunshine and limited daylight. Besides the strong salty winds from the North Sea are also telling hard upon them. Even so, I still find them beautiful in their own way, and I do appreciate them being there for me to admire in late November.
