Discovered by Unknown in China (China, 1839).
Class:
Herbaceous Group, Late, Small-flowered.  
Bloom:
White or cream, light yellow anthers.  Strong fragrance.  4 to 6 petals.  Average diameter 1.25".  Single, star-shaped bloom form.  Midsummer to early autumn.  
Habit:

Height: 3' to 4' (90 to 120cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Plant in soil that drains well.  Plant in sun or partial shade.  In early spring, cut back to just above the lowest set of healthy buds.
