Re Picasso's parentage listed as Seed: Marlena . Pollen: Evelyn Fison × [ × Orange Sweetheart].
Jack Harkness, in his 1978 book , Roses, page 129, gives the parentage as: 'Marlena x ['Evelyn Fison' x ('Orange Sweetheart' x 'Fruhlingsmorgen')]

Yes, 'Frühlingsmorgen' has somehow dropped out. Modern Roses has 'Frühlingsmorgen' and 'Orange Sweetheart' juxtaposed.

Parentage according to the United States patent abstract:
Seed: Marlena Pollen: Evelyn Fison x (Orange Sweetheart x Fruhlingmorgen)
Jack Harkness and the US Patent and Trademark Office agree on this one. Thanks for the correction, Patricia.

'Picasso's parentage corrected again to the 'Marlena x MACjose version used by Sam McGredy in his breeding chart. (see Breeder's page for chart).
