Bloom:
Russet, pink edges. Fawn, lavender beige, parchment brown.. Strong, lemon, spice fragrance. 15 to 25 petals. Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, cupped bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Medium, upright. Medium, matte, medium green foliage.
Height: 30" to 47" (75 to 120cm). Width: up to 2' (up to 60cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer. Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden. Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot , susceptible to Mildew. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .

Finegand Nursery says this rose has pale amber flushed lavender pink buds which open to blooms of pale beige with lavender edges... The American Rose Society says (American Rose, November 1998, p. 35) that an additional synonym has been received for this rose: 'Siegfried Sassoon'.
