Sixty-five Roses. Photo by the National Capital Authority (NCA), copyright remains with the NCA. Photo taken on November 5, 2020, (Spring). Site No. HRG 158, I02. Ladies Garden, Old Parliament House Gardens, Canberra, Australia.
As a roadside planting in the Clare Valley, South Australia (zone 9b, dry, Spring).
The name comes from a small boy who thought that "65 roses" was the name of the condition his sister suffered (Cystic Fibrosis). There is a country-and-western song about this, but the rose is vastly superior.
Lovely scent.
