Jane Fearnley-Whittingstall writes about several English rose gardens. The text is richly illustrated with glorious photographs. The magazine has devoted nine full pages to this piece. If you're considering creating a rose garden from scratch or interested in modifying or expanding your present garden, this is a terrific reference.
The gardens discussed are Haddon Hall, Woodlands House, Hodges Barn, Sudeley Castle, Polesden Lacey, Cliveden, and Mottisfont Abbey.
