Anne's rose garden is situated in a forest of beech, oak, and birch trees. The trees are beautiful and provide a kind of structure to the garden, but they also create a lot of shade. Despite this, Anne's collection of roses encompasses over 100 varieties -- Rugosas, Hybrid Perpetuals, Mosses, Portlands, Gallicas, Albas, Austins, Bourbons, and Hybrid Teas. It has been no easy task to establish her rose garden, but her roses give her so much pleasure, the effort has been well worth it!
