Bred by Marie-Louise (Louisette) Meilland (Paolino) (1920-1987) (France, 1980).
Introduced in France by Meilland et Cie in 1983 as 'Candy Rose'.

Bloom:
Deep pink, red reverse.  None / no fragrance.  up to 15 petals.  Average diameter 2.25".  Medium, semi-double (9-16 petals), borne mostly solitary, in large clusters bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:
Arching, spreading.  3 to 7 leaflets.  

Height: 28" to 4' (70 to 120cm).  Width: 6' (185cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 9b.  Can be used for ground cover.
