Red, scarlet shading. Double (17-25 petals), ruffled bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Tall, armed with thorns / prickles.

The property owner said in 2012 that some of the roses were from 1948.
The bud shows almost no receptacle.
