Notes:
This rose was planted in the John B Murphy School garden in Chicago, Illinois, in September 2023 by the Murphy Garden Club. The club planted many roses, including this one, and held a vote to determine its name. The winning choice was 'Midnight' and second place went to 'Ninja Slice'. As their winning choice was taken by some hybrid tea, I went with a mashup of their first and second choice: 'Midnight Ninja Slice'. Many thanks to the Murphy Garden Club for taking care of this lovely rose and for giving it a wonderful name.
