Bred by Tante Rosa (2015).

Shrub.  

Pink.  

Matte, medium green, edged purple-red foliage.  

Drought resistant.  

This seedling survived more than a year living inside the house in a half-pint pot while being watered very, very infrequently. It went into some kind of drought dormancy... It did not keep any leaves, nor did it develop new ones until better care was taken of it. All that remained was a brown stick. But it started immediately growing fresh green material after being given water and fertilizer for the first time. I had three seedlings of this cross, one died soon, the other one did not like this kind of drought tolerance test and perished, too, and unfortunately I now don't remember which of them was the one who bloomed at the age of 8 weeks.
This surviving seedling has been transferred to a sunny windowsill and lives in a pint-size pot now, being watered and fed as one would expect for a rose. It's developing leaves and new canes and doing fine. I really like it.
