Origin:
Bred by Vincenz Berger (1883 - 1974) (Germany, before 1927).
Introduced in Australia by H. Kemp in 1927 as 'Star of Prague'.
Class:
Hybrid Rugosa.  
Bloom:
Velvety blood red.  Strong, sweet fragrance.  Very full (41+ petals) bloom form.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, upright.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
