Origin:
Bred by Jacques Foulard (France, 1844).
Introduced in France by Moulin aƮne et fils in 1849 as 'Azurelle'.
Class:
Moss.  
Bloom:
Deep pink, dark purple shading, white flecks, lilac outer petals.  Inner petals often have a white middle straek.  Average diameter 3".  Medium bloom form.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, rounded.  Small foliage.
