Origin:
Bred by AndrĂ© Carl (United States, 2013).
Class:
Shrub.
Bloom:
Buds cherry-red. Opens to cerise aging to carmine-pink.  Mild fragrance.  up to 10 petals.  Average diameter 4.5".  Medium-large, single to semi-double, in small clusters, flat, open bloom form.  Prolific, spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.  Medium, long sepals, ovoid buds.
Habit:
Medium, bushy, dense, upright, well-branched.  Medium, glossy, medium green foliage.  5 to 7 leaflets.
Growing:
Can be used for beds and borders, garden, landscape or shrub.  Vigorous.  drought resistant.  Disease susceptibility: disease resistant.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
Breeder's notes:
Set hips readily with good germination
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Pollen Label was unreadable when collected. Based upon the thorns, foliage, and once blooming (so far) habit I initially believed the pollen parent is Prairie Magic. However, it is more probable that the pollen parent is Adelaide Hoodless as the coloring and bloom form seem right and the foliage seems to be in the middle of the two varieties. I have observed that some of the hardy varieties from Canada produce once blooming seedlings even when combined with full repeat bloomers like Hybrid Teas or Floribundas.
