Origin:

Bred by Hans Jürgen Evers (1940-2007) (Germany, 2001).
Introduced in Germany by Rosen-Tantau/Tantau Roses in 2007 as 'Askot'.

Class:

Hybrid Tea, Shrub.

Bloom:

Flowers red, shaded violet and purple. Moderate, tea rose fragrance. Average diameter 4.75". Full (26-40 petals), cupped, globular, old-fashioned bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Habit:

Short, compact, dense.

Height: 3' to 6' (90 to 185cm). Width: up to 18" (up to 45cm).

Growing:

Can be used for beds and borders or container rose.

Besonderheiten: Besonders lange haltbare Blumen, sehr gute Containerrose.
