Bred by Reimer Kordes (1922-1997) (Germany, 1969).
Class:
Climber, Shrub.  
Bloom:
Apricot - orange.  Strong, clove, rose, spice fragrance.  20 to 30 petals.  Average diameter 4.25".  Large, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, cupped, ruffled bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Tall, climbing, upright.  Large, dark green foliage.  

Height: 4'11" to 12' (150 to 365cm).  Width: 4' (120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 9b.  Can be used for cut flower, garden, landscape, pillar or shrub.  Hardy.  vigorous.  can be grown as a shrub.  can be trained as a climber.  prefers cool sites..  suitable for a pillar.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .  Can be grown as a climber in mild climates.
