Origin:
Bred by Nicolas-Joseph Prevost (fils) (France, 1818).
Class:
Unknown.  
Bloom:
Deep pink.  Average diameter 0.75".  Small, semi-double to double, borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles.  Small, dark green foliage.  5 to 7 leaflets.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).

Notes:
Prevost's Rosa serratipetala (1818) is not identical to 'Serratipetala' in commerce, which is the found rose 'Oeillet de St Arquey', probably synonymous with 'Fimbriata'(' à pétales frangés) by Jacques (1831).
