Origin:
Bred by André Leroy (1801-1875) (France, 1825).
Class:
Damask Perpetual, Portland.  
Bloom:
Light pink.  Strong fragrance.  Average diameter 3.75".  Large, double (17-25 petals), rosette bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  Long buds.  
Habit:
3 to 5 leaflets.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).

Notes:
Hardy assigns 'Le Printemps' to Delaage, also in Angers. Possibly bred by Delaage, burt propagated by Leroy.
