Origin:
Bred by Jules Gravereaux (France, 1901).
Introduced in France by Roseraie de l'Hay in 1902 as 'Madame Henri Gravereaux'.
Introduced in France by Charles Pierre Marie Cochet-Cochet in 1904 as 'Madame Henri Gravereaux'.
Class:
Hybrid Rugosa.  
Bloom:
Light pink, salmon-pink shading, light yellow outer petals.  Very large, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, cupped-to-flat, urn-shaped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Rounded buds.  
Habit:
Dense.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Possibly also one of the seedlings Jules Gravereaux bought from Dr. Müller in 1901/02 and issued in his own name (both parents are Müller's cultivars).
Jeanne Marie-Louise Laborie (March 1, 1878 Paris - August 25, 1951 Paris) married on March 17, 1902 Henri Pierre Gravereaux (May 27, 1874 Paris - November 28, 1953 Paris), eldest son of Jules Gravereaux.
