Bred by Joseph Sauvageot (France, 1932).
Class:
Hybrid Moyesii, Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Brown to crimson, dark red reverse.  Mild fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  Large, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Bushy, upright.  Matte, dark green foliage.  
Growing:
Very vigorous.
